525,600 minutes
525,600 moments, oh dear
525,600 minutes
How do you measure, measure a year?
In daylights, in sunsets
In midnights and cups of coffee
In inches, in miles, in laughter in strife
525,600 minutes - how do you measure
A year in a life?
- Rent
In friendships lost, in people alienated
In tears, in emotional breakdowns
In breakdowns of communication
In the number of people who chose to walk away?
-me
"Measure your life in love."

You have been tagged! It's a fun little game. Tell seven random little things about yourself and tag seven other people.
Have fun!
Amie
Heather, that was a very nice poem. Dark and heartfelt and substantial. I hope things are going all right for you. Peace.

Thanks Adam, I didn't even really think of it as a poem - just a collection of random thoughts. Frankly, I didn't even notice the repetition of "breakdowns" - though now I see that could be a rather effective device ;-) So yeah, let's just pretend I meant to do that, mmk?
